Claude Morin French, 1946-2021

Claude Morin comes from a family that was influenced by the printing trade. Born in 1946, the Frenchman developed a penchant for printmaking at an early age and showed exceptional talent in drawing and sculpture. 

Morin studied decorative and fine arts. His works are characterised by both shimmering and exceedingly clear colours that appeal to a large number of collectors all over the world. 

Morin made his first aluminium sculpture for President Georges Pompidou.

In 1986 he founded his own studio.  

Since then he has received many awards for his work, including the Gold Medal of the City of New York, the Gold Medal of the Academia Italia and the Art Prize of the National Academy in Metz.
